We cover everything from defining core symptoms, including the hallmark post exertional malaise, to the overlap with hypermobility, dysautonomia, and mast cell activation.

1. What even is ME/CFS, and how is it different from just being really tired?

ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) isn’t your average “I need a nap” kind of fatigue. It’s a complex, multi-system illness that typically develops after an immune system trigger (think: infections, surgeries, or vaccines). The fatigue is profound, disabling, and doesn’t improve with rest.
