In this week’s Bendy Bulletin, we’re diving into the growing divide between physicians and healthcare administrators - a divide that is having a profound impact on both patient care and the medical profession.
I’m honestly so disappointed, not only in the lack of knowledge or care, but the lack of curiosity or desire to even TRY! I would prefer an open-minded doctor who can grasp the fact that I’ve been living in, studying about, and writing about my “rare” health issues for 20+ years and maybe I know a few things they don’t, and that’s okay, than an “Ivy league expert “ who has no time or space to learn from patients and work together…
that’s what a mutual healthcare decision making process should look like!
I agree. Unfortunately, far too many doctors are no longer curious (or compassionate - the two things I think are most important). The reasons are multifactorial and this was the topic of the podcast episode coming out this week.
Totally agree! We need MAJOR reform NOW!!! People with complex illnesses are suffering so much more than necessary - and even people with acute and subacute problems!🤯😱

Very informative articles! Thank you for educating us. 3800% more administrators?! That’s appalling 😣
