Yes, it is! 😱

Donna and her team did a fantastic job on the film, Complicated. It is a must watch for anyone interested in connective tissue disorders like Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (which should be everyone)!🧬🦓

There are too many stories of women’s pain that is being ignored. This one hit home this week https://www.rnz.co.nz/life/people/teen-was-told-the-crippling-stomach-pain-she-suffered-was-in-her-head-it-wasn-t

Thank you always for writing with such clarity and for referencing all your points- a great resource for all of us who fight back this misogynistic medical system (all over the world).

Yes, way late, so much opportunity lost. I'm getting old, and not enough changes,m little time.

I'm in Canada and working with a new doctor to access my persistent pain. Her first line is to do xrays and blood work to determine if it is osteoarthritis or perhaps low estrogen (I'm posts menopausal). Without a formal EDS diagnosis (there is at least a 4 year wait list to be seen by our local EDS clinic) I'm wondering if asking for LDN is something I should bring up?

So grateful for your insight and posts. It is so reassuring to see there are others out there dealing with the same health issues. Thank you.

You are most welcome and thank you for the kind words. I hope you will check out my newsletter on LDN linked below if you haven't already. One beautiful thing about LDN is that it can be helpful for a lot of different conditions. It is the opposite of cancer chemotherapy where you need a tissue diagnosis to choose the exact right drug for maximal effectiveness and to minimize risk (ie: the right molecular lock to go into the right molecular key).

Estrogen does have a lot of effects on the body and has been discussed on numerous podcast episodes so check those out also (although I plan to discuss it more).

It stinks that it takes so long to get an evaluation in Canada. I have a lot of clients from Canada for this reason.
